Mission

LCBA works to promote sustainable beekeeping  through meetings, classes, workshops, newsletters, our Facebook page, this website, and other activities. We provide support and information to people interested in developing and maintaining bee colonies, both by linking experienced members as mentors to beginners and through our educational programs. For our detailed mission statement, please see our Constitution: click here.

LCBA cooperates with the Washington State University Extension Service, other universities, the Washington State Department of Agriculture, the Washington State Beekeeper’s Association, the Western Apiculture Society, and the Lewis County Farm Bureau to share new beekeeping information.

Lewis County Beekeepers' Association is 501(C)3 nonprofit corporation supported entirely by members' dues & by donations. LCBA has no paid employees: all association activities are supported by volunteers.
